Come! Fall in love with the Cotswolds. Step into the enchanting embrace of a region that beckons with its captivating allure of picturesque villages and lively market towns. Nestled within the Cotswolds are some of England's most unspoiled, historic, and renowned communities, each exuding a timeless charm. The mellow honey-coloured stone buildings, adorning the landscape like jewels, infuse the surroundings with a quintessential English allure that is unparalleled. As you wander through the winding streets and absorb the idyllic atmosphere, you'll find yourself immersed in a truly unique experience, where every corner reveals the rich tapestry of history and a palpable sense of the extraordinary.

Day 1

We start our Cotswolds adventure starting at the ancient Rollright Stones, predating even Stonehenge. Explore three Neolithic and Bronze Age megalithic monuments – The Kings Men stone circle, King Stone, and Whispering Knights dolmen.

Our journey continues into the Oxfordshire Cotswolds, where you will be enchanted by the picturesque village of Great Tew. Dating back to the 19th century, this ‘picture postcard’ village showcases darker red ironstone and charming thatched cottages, a rare sight in the Cotswolds.

With appetites stirred after exploring Great Tew, ournext destination is Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds. Enjoy lunch and sightseeing amidst the oldest inn in England and independent stores in the market square.

In the afternoon, we visit the stunning village of Snowshill before immersing ourselves in the quintessential charm of Stanton. Thatched cottages, a lovely church, and the clip-clop of horses along the main street await. Our final stop is Broadway, the largest Cotswold village in Worcestershire. With its tree-lined streets and an array of craft shops, boutiques, and eateries, Broadway is an ideal venue for dinner. Alternatively, you may choose to have dinner at your hotel and retire for the night, where you will stay for two nights. (D)

Day 2

On the second day, post-hotel breakfast, we head to South Cotswolds. Our first stop is Malmesbury, a historic hilltop town spanning over 2,500 years. Enjoy a leisurely walk through its historic streets.

Continuing to Lacock, a remarkably preserved 13th-century village owned by the National Trust, you'll recognise scenes from Harry Potter, Downton Abbey, and Pride & Prejudice. Spend the morning exploring the village and Lacock Abbey (included attraction).

Indulge in a sumptuous afternoon tea at The Manor House in Castle Combe, blending tradition and glamour for an exquisite experience. This quintessential treat is included in the overall price. After tea, stroll through the 'Prettiest Village in England' with 'The Prettiest Street in England,' known for its film locations, including War Horse and Downton Abbey.

Our day concludes in the picturesque village of Bibury, the largest in Coln Valley. Enjoy the charming cottages, uncover the village's quirky history, and spot Trout in the crystal-clear waters of the River Coln. Capture the perfect photo at the Cotswolds' most famous cottages. (B, L, D)

Day 3

After a restful night and hearty breakfast, it's time to check out of the hotel for another exciting day. Begin your journey with a visit to the quaint riverside village of Lower Slaughter, marvelling at its beautiful cottages and stunning old water mill. We continue to Upper Slaughter, one of England's 'doubly sainted' villages with no losses in both World Wars.

Next, we explore the renowned Cotswold village, Bourton-on-the-Water, known for its stone bridges along the river. Take a mid-morning coffee break, enjoying the scenery or visiting the famous one-ninth scale Model Village.

Heading towards London via Oxford, savour an extended lunch or explore the Covered Market. Capture the magic of Harry Potter's world as you stroll through the meadows, colleges, and libraries of Oxford University in the late afternoon. Finally, we return to London, concluding our memorable trip. (B)
