Day 1: Castles, Ancient Stones and Bristol’s Charm
We begin our journey that commences with the grandeur of Windsor. Our visit unfolds at Windsor Castle, the world's oldest and largest inhabited castle, resonating with nearly 1,000 years of regal history. As you explore this working royal palace, you will also have the option to stroll along the iconic Windsor high street or venture to Eton, the esteemed Tudor-era boarding school, whose former pupils include 20 British prime ministers.
Following a mid-morning pause for a hot beverage, our route leads us into the picturesque Wiltshire countryside, where the ancient marvel of Stonehenge (included attraction) beckons. Step into the midst of this architecturally sophisticated prehistoric stone circle, experiencing its unique stones and delving into the Stonehenge visitor centre's informative exhibition.
After a delightful lunch, our journey continues westward to the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, a symbol of architectural prowess spanning the River Avon and Avon Gorge. Indulge in the scenic vistas, capturing perfect photos from vantage points like The Observatory. Bristol's vibrant street art awaits during leisure time, providing an opportunity to uncover the creations of the city's famed resident, Banksy.
As the day unfolds, dinner awaits at your city centre hotel in Bristol, marking the beginning of your two nights' stay. (D)

Day 2: Roman History, Wells and Gorge Wonders
Wake up to a new day after a restful night's sleep, ready to savour a traditional English or vegetarian breakfast. Today our journey commences with a visit to the enchanting city of Bath, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Immerse yourself in centuries of history as you traverse the Roman Baths, dating back to AD43, and stroll past architectural gems like Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent, and the Circus. Capture the timeless beauty of Pulteney Bridge, an iconic example of Georgian architecture.
You'll enjoy lunch in the lovely city of Wells, renowned as the smallest free-standing city in the UK. Despite its size, Wells boasts a magnificent 13th-century cathedral, the world's second-oldest working clock, and Europe's oldest residential street.
We than head over to Mendip Hills to visit Cheddar Gorge where we have time to explore the village and Cheddar Gorge site. Visit the famous Gough's Cave (included attraction), which contains the Cheddar Yeo, the largest underground river system in Britain.
As the day draws to a close, we return to Bristol to unwind and refresh before a delightful dinner, marking the perfect conclusion to your day. (B, D)

Day 3: Cotswolds Villages and Manor House Tea
After breakfast, it is time to check out of the hotel as we visit the South Cotswolds. We travel short distance to Lacock, a village largely unchanged since 13th century. Lacock is owned and managed by the National Trust, movie fans will recognise the scenes from Harry Potter, Downton Abbey and Pride & Prejudice. You have about two hours to explore the village and Lacock abbey before we drive a short distance for our next stop, Castle Combe.
Enjoy a truly indulgent afternoon tea served with a glamorous sense of tradition and occasion at The Manor House in Castle Combe village. If afternoon tea is the most quintessential of English culinary pastimes, then it’s absolutely essential to experience it at its best. Your afternoon tea is included in the price. After tea, time to stretch your legs as you wander through ‘The Prettiest Village in England’ with ‘The Prettiest Street in England’. It is unsurprising that many films and TV programmes have been filmed here, be it Steven Spielberg’s War Horse, Doctor Dolittle or the Stardust and the hit drama Downton Abbey.
Our last stop of the day is the village of Bibury. The largest and most famous villages in Coln Valley. Here you will see the charming row of cottages and learn the villages quirky history. As you wander around the nature reserve, see if you can spot Trout in the crystal-clear waters swim up the River Coln and most importantly, make sure you have space left on your camera for the perfect photo outside the most famous collection of cottages in the Cotswolds.
In the late afternoon, we head to Birmingham, the UK's second-largest city. Enjoy leisure time exploring the renowned Bullring. The city offers diverse cuisine to suit every palate. Opt for dinner at the hotel or one of the numerous local or international eateries before retiring for the night. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Shakespeare, Market Towns and Village Gems
After checking out from the hotel, we depart for the morning visit to the historic town of Stratford-upon-Avon. Developed along the banks of River Avon, it is the birthplace of possibly the most famous writer in English language, William Shakespeare. Stroll around Henley Street famous for Shakespeare’s Birthplace with a mix of gift shops and lifestyle shops.
Time for a refreshment break before we journey towards North Cotswolds. Your next destination is the highest market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold. Here, you will have time for lunch and some sightseeing along with the little independent stores in the market square.
In the afternoon, we head to Broadway, the largest Cotswold village in Worcestershire. With its beautiful treelined street, Broadway has a wide range of craft shops, boutiques, gift shops and lots of independent eateries, it is an ideal venue for afternoon tea or coffee break.
Next you visit the most famous village in the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water. Wander along the river, crossing little stone bridges. This is the perfect stop for mid-morning coffee where you can spend time watching the world go by or visit the famous Model Village which is a one-ninth scale.
We head to Oxford for our dinner and overnight stay in the city centre of Oxford. Your hotel is centrally located so you have time at leisure to stroll around after dinner before you retire for the night. (B, D)

Day 5: Oxford’s Magic and Designer Shopping
Today is the last day of our trip. After breakfast, we check out of the hotel. We spend the morning visiting Oxford, a college town that is steeped in history and renowned the world over. All of Oxford University’s 38 colleges are located within walking distance of each other in the centre of Oxford.
Keep your cameras ready as you explore the magical locations of Harry Potter world while strolling through colleges, libraries and meadows of Oxford University. Your visit to Oxford includes a private 60-minute tour of the Christ Church College and the famous Dining Hall (included attraction).
After lunch in Oxford, your journey back to London is packed full of luxury shopping extravaganza but at discounted prices at the Bicester Village. You have time to shop for your favourite luxury brands and time for a final refreshment break before we journey along Oxfordshire countryside and Chiltern Hills back into London. (B)
