Deposits and payments

To confirm your booking, a deposit payment is required in accordance with our Booking Terms. The remaining balance must be settled within the specified timeframe before your travel date.

We accept payments via:
✔ UK-issued debit or credit cards. UK-issued commercial debit or credit cards will attract surcharges (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
✔ Non-UK debit or credit cards (with applicable surcharges)
✔ Bank transfers to our global currency account (payments accepted in various currencies, based on the UK GBP exchange rate at the time of transaction)

Please note that for non-UK cards, any additional payment processing fees or surcharges will be borne by the customer.

Payment surcharges & consumer rights

In compliance with The Consumer Rights (Payment Surcharges) Regulations 2012, Journey Britain does not apply any surcharges for UK consumer credit and debit card payments. However, charges shall apply for UK commercial cards and all non-UK issued cards. These charges reflect direct costs incurred from payment processors.

For full transparency, any applicable surcharge will be clearly outlined before payment is processed.

Currency & exchange rates

For international travellers, we offer the flexibility to pay in various currencies through our global currency account. Payments are converted based on the prevailing UK GBP exchange rate at the time of transaction.

Booking confirmation & final details

Once your payment is received, you will receive:
✔ A confirmation email with booking details and payment receipt.
✔ A final itinerary before your departure, including accommodation details, driver-guide or chauffeur information, and any pre-arranged experiences.
