Day 1

Escape the hustle and bustle of London temporarily as we journey to Cambridge, a historic university town that stands among England's finest, where you'll spend a night.

A visit to any of the colleges of the University of Cambridge is worthwhile. These colleges feel like a sanctuary from the outside world. It’s easy to get transported into another time, where ivy-covered towers built hundreds of years ago, porters manning the gates, college green lawns that are not to be crossed, and students stepping out in their academic gowns for formal dinners.

There is something for everyone in Cambridge. Explore the backs, step off the crowded streets of Trumpington and King’s Parade, and into King’s College grounds and the famous King’s College Chapel (included attraction). After a guided sightseeing (included attraction) of this historic city by a qualified Cambridge guide, you can take a lunch in one of many cafes, local pubs and lavish eateries. If you fancy a bit of classic British traditions, you may fancy enjoying a full Afternoon Tea or even a cream tea in one of the cafes or Michelin starred eateries. We highly recommend booking the Afternoon Tea in advance though.

In the afternoon, you go for private chauffeured punting in River Cam (included attraction). Sit back and enjoy the views as your chauffeur takes you down the River Cam. Afterwards, explore Cambridge at leisure or grab a beverage at the Eagle Pub, the birthplace of the discovery of DNA before you head back to your hotel in the city centre of Cambridge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 2

After a restful night’s sleep and a traditional English or vegetarian breakfast, we depart for a visit to Oxford, a college town that is steeped in history and renowned the world over. All of Oxford University’s 38 colleges are located within walking distance of each other in the centre of Oxford. As the oldest university in the English-speaking world, Oxford University is made up of young and vibrant students who come from all over the world to study in the ancient and modern colleges.

Keep your cameras ready as you explore the magical locations of Harry Potter while strolling through colleges, libraries and meadows of Oxford University colleges. Enjoy the visit to the Christ Church College (included attraction) and the most famous Harry Potter dining hall in the company of your private guide for an hour.

There are many fine eateries in Oxford and unique gastronomic experiences in the Covered Market where you can relax and observe the students going about their daily lives. Post lunch, you visit the famous Radcliffe Camera and Bodleian Library along with many other colleges, some of which provide free access.

You have time to meander around the streets and many independent small shops. In the evening you return to your city centre accommodation in Oxford to freshen up and enjoy the relaxing dinner before retiring for the night. (B, D)

Day 3

It is time to check out of the hotel, after a full breakfast, as you have another fun filled day. Our first stop of the day is a tiny riverside village of Lower Slaughter. Marvel at the beautiful cottages & stunning old water mill. We will also stop at Upper Slaughter, one of only 14 'doubly sainted' villages in England, villages that lost no men during either World War I or II.

Next we visit the most famous village in the Cotswolds, Bourton-on-the-Water. Wander along the river, crossing little stone bridges. This is the perfect stop for mid-morning coffee where you can spend time watching the world go by or visit the famous Model Village which is a one-ninth scale.

Having built up an appetite after meandering through these villages, your next destination is the highest market town in the Gloucestershire Cotswolds, Stow-on-the-Wold. Here, you have time for lunch and some sightseeing. Do not miss the oldest inn in England along with the little independent stores in the market square.

In the afternoon, your journey back to London is packed full of luxury shopping extravaganza but at discounted prices at the Bicester Village. Here you have a couple of hours to shop for your favourite luxury brands and time for a final refreshment break before we journey along Oxfordshire countryside and Chiltern Hills back into London.
