Take lunch in the Cathedral city of Wells, the smallest free-standing city in the UK at just 2.11 square miles. Explore the town of Cheddar and visit the natural wonder of Cheddar Gorge.

We will have lunch in Wells. Wells might be the smallest free-standing city in the UK but don’t let its size fool you. Don’t forget to also visit its magnificent 13th century cathedral, the world’s 2nd oldest working clock and visit Europe’s oldest residential street.

We than head to Cheddar Gorge where you have time to explore the village and Cheddar Gorge site. Perhaps you could visit the famous Gough's Cave, which contains the Cheddar Yeo, the largest underground river system in Britain.

Time for last refreshments before we return. Relax in the comfort of your own private transport as we journey through Wiltshire and Berkshire back into London.

  • Donations are suggested to visit Glastonbury Abbey and Wells Cathedral.
  • We offer the option to arrange a driver-guide fluent in Hindi, Chinese, and several other languages for your trip, subject to an additional cost. Kindly inquire about this service at the time of booking.
  • Carry your waterproof clothing and comfortable walking shoes.
