Join us on this journey to discover the Gower Peninsula!
Revealing awe-inspiring natural splendour, Gower stands unspoiled by modern development. Renowned for its pristine and unaltered beaches and coves, these coastal gems feature outstanding water quality, perfect for swimming and various water activities. As you explore the coastline, graceful Grey Seals are frequently spotted, and around Worms Head, sightings of Dolphins and Porpoises are a common occurrence.
Day 1
Embark on your Gower Peninsula adventure from London, traversing the West Country and Afan Forest Park. Your home for the next two nights will be Swansea, known as Abertawe in Welsh, the second-largest city in Wales boasting a vibrant and cosmopolitan culture.
Upon arrival, we'll check you into your accommodation. Prepare your beach essentials and flip-flops as we kick off our journey to one of the most family-friendly and easily accessible beaches – Caswell Bay Beach. This popular bay offers ample sand for lounging, waves for surfing, and rockpools for exploration, with lifeguards on duty during the high season.
The coastal path from Caswell Bay to Langland Bay, passing through Whiteshell Point and Snaple Point Viewpoint, is a stroll down memory lane. Don't forget your camera or phone, as the scenery and sunsets are absolutely breathtaking.
After working up an appetite at Caswell Bay, we return to your Swansea hotel to freshen up. Following dinner, it's time to retire for the night. (D)

Day 2
After a delicious breakfast, our journey takes us to the breathtaking Rhossili Bay and Worms Head. Rhossili Bay, an iconic destination, offers dramatic and panoramic views across Bristol Channel. Wander in any direction to discover incomparable views of the beach, Worms Head, and the cliffs, with the chance of spotting basking seals or playful dolphins in the surf. Note that the descent to the beach is steep and may not be suitable for pushchairs or those withdifficulty walking.
During low tide, the expansive beach allows for a walk across the bay to Llangennith or even onto Worms Head. If venturing to Worms Head, report to the Coastwatch Centre before you go, and be cautious not to attempt a swim back if the tide rises, as there is always some sand even at high tide. Binoculars come in handy for observing the diverse birdlife nesting on the cliffs.
For avid walkers, the Wales Coast Path from Worms Head Causeway to Port Eynon Beach is a paradise, featuring numerous viewpoints accessible only on foot.
In case of high tide, we'll explore other family-friendly and accessible beaches in Gower. Lunch shall be enjoyed in Rhossili Bay or Port Eynon, with the afternoon reserved for leisurely visits to Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs Bay.
After a fulfilling day along the Gower coastline and pristine beaches, we return to Swansea for a well-deserved rest. Whether you choose to unwind with tea or coffee at the hotel or opt for dinner at the hotel or at a local restaurant, your driver-guide is ready to assist before you retire for the night. (B, D)

Day 3
On your third day, post a delightful breakfast at the hotel, it's time to bid farewell as we embark on another exciting day. Our journey commences with a visit to Swansea Castle, a once-mighty fortress now in ruins, nestled amidst a bustling city centre offering a shopping extravaganza.
Next, we venture to the West Country to witness the world-famous Clifton Suspension Bridge in Bristol, gracefully spanning the River Avon and Avon Gorge. This iconic symbol of Bristol provides numerous scenic vantage points, including The Observatory, perfect for capturing that postcard-worthy photo.
After a satisfying lunch in Bristol, we proceed to the historic city of Bath, founded by the Romans as a thermal spa. Bath boasts Georgian landmarks like The Royal Crescent and The Circus, constituting a living museum designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Don't miss the opportunity to stroll across Pultney Bridge, one of only four bridges globally with shops lining its entire span on both sides.
Having explored the charming streets of Bath, we journey back to London, concluding our memorable trip. (B)
