Enjoy a relaxing day trip from London as we visit two of England’s most famous university towns - Cambridge and Oxford. Walk through beautiful old colleges, enjoy a peaceful boat ride in Cambridge, and see where the discovery of DNA was made. After lunch, explore Oxford’s historic buildings and famous filming locations from the Harry Potter movies. With time for sightseeing, shopping, and traditional British afternoon tea, this tour offers culture, history, and unforgettable memories - perfect for international travellers.

We leave the hustle and bustle of London and travel to Cambridge, one of England’s finest historic university towns. A visit to any of the colleges of the University of Cambridge is worthwhile. These colleges feel like a sanctuary from the outside world. It’s easy to get transported into another time, where ivy-covered towers built hundreds of years ago, porters manning the gates, college green lawns that are not to be crossed, and students stepping out in their academic gowns for formal dinners.

There is something for everyone in Cambridge. You go punting, explore the backs, step off the crowded streets of Trumpington and King’s Parade, and into college grounds or grab an alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverage at the Eagle Pub, the birthplace of the discovery of DNA. After whole morning sightseeing of this historic city, you have time for lunch in one of many cafes, local pubs and lavish eateries. If you fancy a bit of British tradition, why not enjoy a full afternoon tea or even a cream tea. Advance booking is highly recommended for Afternoon Tea and our team is always ready to assist in securing your reservation.

After lunch, we visit Oxford, a college town that is steeped in history and renowned the world over. All of Oxford University’s 38 colleges are located within walking distance of each other in the centre of Oxford. As the oldest university in the English-speaking world, Oxford University is made up of young and vibrant students who come from all over the world to study in the ancient and modern colleges.

Keep your cameras ready as you explore the magical locations of Harry Potter world while strolling through colleges, libraries and meadows of Oxford University colleges. Your journey back to London is packed full of memories of two of the most famous university towns in the world. Time for a final refreshment break before we journey along Oxfordshire countryside and Chiltern Hills back into London.
