Embark on an extraordinary day trip to England's captivating West Country! Your adventure begins in Wiltshire with a visit to the ancient and mysterious Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage site featuring the world's most sophisticated prehistoric stone circle. Get up close to these monumental stones, explore the visitor centre, and discover Stone Age huts. Afterwards, journey through the picturesque countryside to Bath, another remarkable UNESCO World Heritage city. Here, you'll step back in time, exploring its famous Roman Baths, stunning Georgian architecture like the Royal Crescent and Pulteney Bridge, and perhaps enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea. Finally, on your return to London, make a delightful stop in Lacock, a quintessential English village known for its charming timber-framed cottages and as a popular setting for films and TV.

We head towards West Country to visit Stonehenge in the beautiful countryside of Wiltshire. Stonehenge (ca. 2600-2400 BCE) holds the most architecturally sophisticated prehistoric stone circle in the world, using stones unique in size and how far they had to be transported from. Take stunning photos and videos. Walk all the way around the stones getting only 3 meters away. Explore the new visitor centre and its exhibition and even see some stone age huts. Then time to browse the great gift shop and get those important unforgettable presents.

We drive through Wiltshire countryside to the city of Bath in the valley of the River Avon. We will take a tour through time and explore the only UK city designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for and named after its Roman-built baths, Bath combines three periods of history – Roman, Georgian and the modern day.

Here we will travel through centuries in just a few thousand steps from the Roman Baths dating back to AD43 to stroll past architectural masterpieces like the Bath Abbey, the Royal Crescent and the Circus. You may even wish to visit Jane Austen Centre, Bath’s most famous resident.

Pulteney Bridge is one of the most photographed examples of Georgian architecture in the city and one of only four bridges in the world to have shops across its full span on both sides. And if you fancy a little bit of retail therapy, Bath boasts a spectacular choice of independent retail shops selling one-of-a-kind items including antiques, of course in addition to many other major brands.

We recommend having a full afternoon tea instead of a traditional lunch in Bath. Full afternoon tea in Bath is a unique experience where many tea houses compete to be the best, whether it is The Bath Bun, Sally Lunn’s Historic Eating House, Henrietta House, or the Pump Room.

Later on, we depart for London and enroute stopover in Lacock, a quintessential English village with timber-framed cottages and local shops. We will make a brief stop to marvel at the beauty of Lacock Abbey, that has stood the test of time for 800 years. With its central grid of four streets, Lacock today looks much as it did 200 years ago and has been a setting in many TV programs and films.

As your day draws to a close, sit back and relax in the comfort of your private luxury transport while we drop you off at your front door.
